This new pendant is why I love Jewelry Clay so much!
It features clay, Pearl Ex, a screw eye and a previously finished resin filled bezel.
A few years ago I had a project on the blog featuring this magical Christmas image from Peggi Meyer Graminski. When I make a project I usually also make a back up. This rectangle bezel was that back up and it has sat in my unfinished pile for quite some time.
This was the original Resin Crafts Blog project.
So I made a small batch of Jewelry Clay and pressed it into all the edges. This is my faux soldering technique. You can also see that my finished pendant has a little screw eye attachment which I pressed into the clay before it cured.
My last step was to brush a metallic Pearl Ex over the clay surface before it cured and the piece was done.
