Resin Wall Hanging so Easy

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today working with EasyCast Casting Epoxy from Environmental Technology Inc. to create a wall hanging.

I came across this circular sign recently and knew it would fit perfectly in my craft room.

The letter is recessed so it made for a great base onto which to add assorted elements and then seal with EasyCast.

I combined equal parts resin and hardener then, per the directions, I mixed it for 2 minutes. 

Next, I poured the mix into a clean cup and mixed it again for another minute.

I poured a light layer of epoxy over the sign, then added an assortment of embellishments. 

Once all the elements were added, I poured on additional epoxy to seal them in place. 

Then I placed my piece aside to allow it time to dry.

I was very surprised and happy to see that the hardening process began in less than 30 minutes.

In about 24 hours my new wall hanging was completely sealed and ready to hang, please note it does take about 72 hours to cure completely.  I love how it turned out.
