This has to be the easiest and fastest way to create a mold! Not only is the EasyMold Silicone Putty easy to prepare, but it's just as easy to use.
Mix equal portions and blend until you have a uniform colour.
I formed a large ball and split it into two balls because I wanted to cast 2 different objects: a lady's head and a resin rose.
I sprayed both objects with
Castin' Craft™ Mold Release and Conditioner as per instructions. I wiped up excess pooling of the spray before I put the putty on.
You can see that I am able to cast while the rose is still attached to a bracelet. |
Press the head into the ball of putty.
Press the rose into the ball of putty
And look at the beautiful results!
each and every time...
All details are beautifully captured when clay is poured into the mold. |
