Mid Week Pause

I have Envirotex Lite resin curing for this week's special bezel project.  So this gives me an opportunity to answer a question I received.  "I have seen people working in spoons, how do you do that?"
My advice is to set up a simple bowl that either has sand, rice or tiny stones in it.  This way you can place any uneven object into it so that it rests flat.
Now you can do a first pour of Envirotex Lite.  When this cures, I will have a flat surface to apply images or objects too.  Then I will place it back into my bowl and do a second or final resin pour allowing everything to dry/cure flat.  If you try this please send us a picture!

  1. Can the Environtex be purchased at craft stores? It looks like an amazing product. Thanks for the spoon tip.

  2. This is only my second time here, so please forgive my ignorance. Will the resin stay in the spoon permanently, or are you using it as a mold?

  3. The resin will stay in the spoon...just as you see it in the picture, permanently.
Later this week I'll show you what I did next!
