The Resin People Experiment - Results!

Yesterday I showed you the new tray that I was working in.
I love my results!
It has two big donut shapes I really wanted to experiment in.
Here are my plastic tiny people floating in the circle donut.
The square donut is so great too!
Of course I had to try a few other shapes as well!
These gals look like they are walking on the beach.
I do have an extra step to tell you about.  When you work in a mold, sometimes the resin "climbs the wall" a little.  Do you see the dip on the left side?
I added one more pour of resin to the back of the donut pieces to "dome" them a little.
Doming is a topic I covered in this blog post.

  2. These little people are for train enthusiasts. They are "to scale" for train track builders creating a replica town or scene.

  10. I love moldes you get the most interesting shapes. I keep a box of broken pieces and scrap fabric to add to the molds.

  11. Help please! Where can you purchase Enviro Tech? I've checked all the local hobby shops and can't find this brand. Do I need to buy it online?

  12. Very cute! You could create an entire family from this idea. Are tiny pets available too? Can't wait to try my hand at this!

  13. The different texture like the raisin and all make a youthful collection which is very good for the teens of the age,I like experimentation with new textures.
