I am trying a little experiment. The purple area in my resin filled bezel is dripped sealing wax. It looks like a flower.
I lined my bezel with some old paper. I went out of my way NOT to seal this paper. I knew unsealed it would become relatively translucent.
In my studio I have a collection of vintage sealing wax. There are so many unique colours I feel like I should find a way to use them. So I pulled out a piece of purple wax and let it simple drip into my bezel..
Since I poured resin over the wax I am now seeing swirls in the colour I might have missed! I plan to drip more vintage wax into my projects now!
