Resin Inspiration

This necklace was designed by Parisian jewelry designer Fanny Fouks.  I have a few of her pieces now and thought I would share my most recent purchase.
The pendant is made of several layers of resin.
I love how a simple drilled hole was used to accommodate the dangle.
There are four drilled holes for the cords.  I think this is beautiful.  No glue was needed to add a bail or other jewelry component.

  1. Beautiful piece... Any recommendations for buying a drill for that kind of work?

  2. Resin is very soft compared to wood, I use a hand drill from Fiskars and it goes through it like butter.

    1. Hi Nicole. I am wearing this necklace today. Yes, it goes all the way through. The artist put a little extra felt on the back to cover the hole and wire, so I can't see what is holding it in place. Probably just a bend in the wire.
