The Resin Find

A few weeks ago I was at a huge outdoor antique market.  There are several jewelry vendors and one of my favorites had a "Anything for $5" table.  I had a great time digging through the pile and pulled out this bracelet.
Clearly in need of some attention, I knew this bracelet was still special.
It didn't quite fit though.  Even if I restring the pieces with fresh cord, it will be tight.
 Look at all the details!
This is the kind of resin I love finding by accident!  I have my thinking cap on now!  This will be recycled into something new over the weekend.  I'll post results on Monday!

  1. If you liked it as a bracelet all you'd need to do is add beads between the resin windows. It would break up the busy, and better focus on the detail in my opinion.

  2. or you could use them as "hanging" beads for a necklace!

  3. Ginger, Chris...you are both reading my mind..adding in spacer beads and perhaps making a necklace!

  4. Hi,
I just got home from my very long vacation and was absolutely thrilled to find the package filled with all fabulous goodies that you sent me, from winning your giveaway! I cannot wait to do some experimenting and try some new techniques in my jewellery designs. Once again, thank you so much....this is awesome!
(I think I will do a little blog post on my winnings later this week!)
