My new glittered rose cuff is a showstopper!
This is
day three of my week of posts dedicated to Stampendous! products and our collaboration with
Jewelry Resin!
The Stampendous design team all received
Jewelry Resin and a number of other goodies to work with.
To make my roses I used this baking pan. It was originally created to make rose cupcakes.....but I use it in my jewelry studio instead! Step One: Make a batch of Jewelry resin and pour it into the rose mold to about 1/8 of an inch. I do this so the the rose has a clear top when it comes out of the mold. Remember, you are working upside down when you work in a mold...the bottom becomes the top. I let the resin cure overnight.
Step Two. The next day I just added a generous portion of my Stampendous! glitters to the molds.
No glue is needed in this case. I then poured a good layer of Jewelry resin over the top of these glitter piles! Now I leave the mold to cure for the full 48 hours recommended.
The roses popped out easily. I used a nail file to sand away any edges I did not need.
Glitter Roses! So easy to make and they sure look fabulous on my cuff!
