Jewelry Resin for Box Detail

Not every bezel I work in turns out the way I thought they would.
These pieces are ideal for box embellishing!
I have these thin copper bezels in my stash.  I placed paper in them and sealed them with several layers of mod-podge.
When the glue was dry I added in some rose stickers and poured in Jewelry Resin.
My finished pieces were pretty but not exactly what I originally planned.
I drilled some holes into the bezels and joined my pieces together with wire.  On my $1 box they look fantastic!  Now I have an interesting box to present a piece of jewelry in.

  1. That is really pretty Carmi! Would you consider doing a blog post on drilling holes in resin-filled bezels? Have a great day!

  2. What a neat way to use up your bezels Carmi! The wire 'staples' are really clever. Thank you as always for sharing your cool ideas!
