Resin as a Glaze - Words On A Bead + Pendant

My new flat beads read:
The Question
It seems to me, that this should be sacred.
The colours sure changed from yesterday's post!
I had the first beads sitting on this napkin.  They have one layer of Envirotex Lite glazing their surface.
I wanted them to be more exotic so I painted over the glaze.  When I was happy with my paint, I covered this layer with another glaze of Envirotex Lite.
I made a bezel pendant to match with the napkin imagery which I also painted.
My paint still looks wet after the glaze of resin. It will never smudge or rub away protected under the Envirotex Lite glaze layer.

  1. How do you keep the resin from running off the edge of the beads? Or does that come with experience and not pouring too fast?

  2. Hi Teri, yes, part of the success is experience...but I have taught this technique in a class and students do well right away. Resin is thick and if you don't apply too much it should not drip.
