Earlier this week I got a question about the shelf life of Envirotex Lite resin. Since I answered one person I thought I would let everyone know how I responded and also check in with the makers of Envirotex Lite too!
Carmi:
Envirotex Lite will last for years if stored properly!
By properly, I mean in a cool, dark place. Ideally in a cupboard, away from direct sunlight or florescent lights.
Both bottles (hardener and resin) should remain in the box they were purchased in when not in use. This way they are protected from too much light and you will always have the instructions handy if you have not used the product in a while.
Finally, if it has been a very long time since you used your Envirotex Lite resin, you might see that the hardener has yellowed a little. This will not effect the resin curing clear and hard if mixed properly using the well known one to one ratio mixing procedure.

Environmental Technologies Inc:
There is no set limit on this product. We do state on our instruction sheet that there is a 1 year warranty on the product. This is standard for the industry. However, Envirotex Lite has no real set shelf life. For long term storage, one should keep the product in a cool, dark area. Long term storage can and will result in a product that will darken gradually overtime. The resin side may also crystallize over time due to its purity, but this can be easily corrected by placing the resin bottle in hot tap water until clear.
Thank you again for this information...I have been following and I continue to find this very interesting!
