This is another small example of what can be done with left over resin.
Last week I showed you just a few examples of how to add colour to resin.
I had some resin left over from each of these mixes.
I have several heart shaped silicone molds. I poured both mixed greens into the mold. The two different greens cured side by side in this heart. When I noticed how pretty this was looking I quickly added a dried rose and two tiny embellishments. The next day I added about 1/8 of an inch of clear resin as a final layer.
This pendant is truly a happy accident.
Some days if you try to do this technique on purpose it just doesn't work out. But when you least expect it, the resin gods give you a surprise.
