Henry The 8th and His Wives

I can finally show you my new bezel set!
Earlier this week I showed you this lovely package of chocolate I received from Britain.  I just had to do something with these great paper wrappers.
I used jewelery (which I broke up) from the dollar store for embellishment.  To create this dome I poured Envirotex Lite resin into the bezels three times over the course of one week.  I waited 48 hours for the resin to cure between pours.  The first small pour was to cover the images.  The second pour set all the jewels in place.  Finally, the third pour created this dome.
I am not sure if these bezels are going to be on a larger art piece or something wearable.  We'll see!

  2. I have a question that has less to do with your lovely design and more to do with your tools. Specifically, your non-stick mat. Can you give me it's brand name or suggest where I might look? My local craft stores carry non-stick muffin pans, but not matting.
    Thanks!
p.s., I'd've emailed you, but, honestly, I wasn't finding a "contact me" button anywhere. Sorry.

  3. My mat is from Ranger. I know they sell it a Michael's!

  4. Thankyouthankyouthankyou! I will check the other Michale's store (we have two, I only checked the nearer one), they sometimes carry things the other doesn't.

  5. Hilarious!! Chocolate inspiration! I'm glad I'm not the only one who will stash away little bits of goodness like that. I have the George Costanza wallet and it's full of idea notes, pretty cards and such. haaaaaaaa

  6. Hello!! They look lovely. I was wondering how do you get the envirotex to create a nice dome effect? When l use it it looks fine until six hours later when l can see the envirotex shrink and stop coating the edges of my project. Do you have any tips?

  7. Hi Laura! There are two blog posts about Doming. Just go to the side of the page and under "Labels" you'll see the link to Doming.
