The Resin Travel Kit

You may have noticed from my other blogs that I am in Paris this week.
Bonjour! or Bon Soir!
I have a hard time leaving all my resin projects and ideas at home so I brought a little kit with me this time in the hopes that I might get in a little craft time.  A resin artist needs to travel with a few measuring cups and stir sticks.  I bring wax paper for a surface to work on.  I have Mod Podge in case I find some paper I need to protect before I cover it in resin.  A little tape and a few other odds and ends.  I keep band aids everywhere.  They are not for my resin projects...but you can use the adhesive strip to plug a tiny hole!
I checked ahead of time to see if there was a store in Paris where I could buy my resin...since you can't put it in your luggage.  So I am prepared for an emergency resin project!
And there is an emergency project!
I found these old watch faces at the antique market on Sunday!
My goal is to add an image and some embellishment and then cover everything in resin.
My three watch faces are drying on my tupperware container as I type this.  If all goes well I'll be able to show you a finished bezel in 24 hours! I used a little double sided tape to close the hole on the side of each watch face where the winder used to be.
Here they are.  Resting on the side table.  The prettiest workspace I have ever had.
