I am only asking because I would love to get the non yellowing uv envirotex resin and have been trying to find a source for it. I work with white porcelain and resin, and the yellowing makes too much of an effect with the regular enviotex.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4400747951518169899.post-52515830170273605602011-10-21T08:40:28.750-05:002011-10-21T08:40:28.750-05:00The paint brushes, like anything you pour resin in...The paint brushes, like anything you pour resin into will harden and cure...washing them would be very difficult. I keep some of my "resoned" paintbrushes and actually use them in my art...or you could just remove the bristles and use the stick for something else.Carmi Cimicatahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01703119495509215158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4400747951518169899.post-61370806279713835232011-10-20T21:02:44.460-05:002011-10-20T21:02:44.460-05:00Wait, why are you throwing brushes away after usin...Wait, why are you throwing brushes away after using resin? Can't you clean it? Isn't that really wasteful? Isn't there a better way, because I would imagine resin is toxic to the environment.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14246363034674664190noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4400747951518169899.post-2717563182060917082011-10-20T09:48:27.282-05:002011-10-20T09:48:27.282-05:00It was pretty flexible since I bent it into the ho...It was pretty flexible since I bent it into the hoop at about the 12 hour cure point...it will be really solid now that it's been 48 hours. I am glad I did not wait any longer. It was about as thick as one of those outdoor tablecloths. Hope that helps!Carmi Cimicatahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01703119495509215158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4400747951518169899.post-53752634752366574212011-10-20T03:52:28.183-05:002011-10-20T03:52:28.183-05:00I love this! :) I've been following your blog ...I love this! :) I've been following your blog to learn how to use resin and I'm finding it really helpful. Does the paper stay flexible at all after coating with the resin, or is it rigid? Thanks for all your great info.<br />AnnAnn Mackayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11351182320553751958noreply@blogger.com
