Marbled Trivet with EnviroTex Lite®

I love marbling with resin,  The results are always unexpected and wonderful.

Materials:
EnviroTex Lite®
Iridescents: Aquamarine, Onxy, Snow, Sheer Silver
Tile, 6" x 6"
Mixing cups
Stir sticks
Craft brushes
Cork, 6" x 6" x 1/8"
Lighter
Painters tape
Craft glue
Plastic to cover work surface

Instructions:

Tape the back of the tile.

Paint the tile Aquamarine and let dry.

Measure out 3 oz of each the EnviroTex Lite® resin and hardener.

Mix for 2 minutes and then, pour into a second mixing cup and stir for 1 minute.

Pour resin into 4 mixing cups and add just enough Iridescents to color.

Pour colors onto the tile as shown.

Tip the tile each way to let the resin run together, adding more colors if needed.

Place the tile onto some mixing cups.  Wipe edges as needed to remove the drips.  Let dry for 24 hours.

Measure out 1 1/2 ounces of the hardener and resin to equal 3 ounces.  Mix for 2 minutes and then, pour into a second mixing cup and stir for 1 minute.

Pour onto the tile.  Remove any air bubbles that rise with the lighter.  Let dry for 24 hours.  Remove the painters tape from the back of the tile.

Glue the cork to the tile.

 It turned out beautiful.

You can try this marbling technique in other colors and always get wonderful results.
