Journals are everywhere...you can buy them already embellished or make them one of a kind and create your own embellishments. This journal is a simple gold and white striped journal and was in need of something...with FastCast® the solution is quick and easy. I found a mold that had a beautiful corner and straight embellishment and love how it completed this journal cover....
Materials:
Mixing cups
Stir sticks
Makin's Clay® Floral Mold
Rub and Buff, gold
Craft glue
Instructions:
Spray mold with mold release.
Measure out equal parts of A and B and then stirs for 1 minute. Pour into a second cup and mix for 30 seconds.
Pour into prepared mold. Let set for 10 minutes.
Pop the pieces out of the mold.
Simply apply Rub and Buff to the embellishment until the desired color is achieved.
Here is how one of the embellishments look in the original FastCast® white color, which looks great with this journal.
