A tip for using Silicone Putty Molds

As many of you know, I love to make Silicone Rubber Molds...
it is so easy and you can make a mold quickly out of most anything....

Simply measure out two equal balls of part A and B of Silicone Putty

Mix them together

Until you have a uniform color.
Place your object into the mixed silicone putty
Let it set up for about 20 minutes and,
you will have a perfect mold....

Now for a very important tip when using Resin with a mold you have created....

You can use your mold right away with a clay...
but if you are going to use a resin such as EasyCast
beware of....

 a chemical reaction and bubbles.....
as you can see with the resin piece above....
this was poured within an hour of being made....
if the bubbles are not going to matter with the look your going for,
then no problem...vut if you want a nice clear resin....

 like this one pictured above....
you simply have to wait 48 and there will be no chemical reaction...

it really is that simple....
