These are simple wooden coasters that I created with my
Faux Quilting Stamps. Below are instructions for applying the
EnviroTex Lite®. You can find complete instructions on how to create the monogrammed coasters on my
blog.
Tape around the edges of the coaster (to
prevent the resin from dripping). Lay out some wax paper, then place
the coaster on something to elevate
it.
Mix EnviroTex Lite® as directed on the
package. Measure equal parts resin and hardener in 2 separate cups.
Pour the hardener into the resin and mix thoroughly for 2 minutes.
Pour mixture into the second cup and stir for another minute.
Pour resin onto the coaster.
Use the stir stick to bring the resin to
the edges, (the resin is self leveling). Watch for any bubbles to rise
and blow lightly to disperse them. Let dry undistributed for 12 hours,
and then peel the tape away.
Trim resin away from the edges if needed. Let cure for 72 hours.
