Beading In Jewelry Clay

Okay.  Stand by for the craziest idea yet.
Over one year ago I took a special class where we were taught how to bead on the new Clover loom.
It was all very new to me, and quite frankly, I had difficulty keeping up with the other students.
We were supposed to make two of these hearts and then join them together.  Well, my first heart was wonky.
I didn't have the "heart" to finish the project.  The longer I waited, the worse I felt.  I decided it was time to just call it a day and cut the wonky heart off the loom.  Maybe now I'll start a new looming project....but I could not bear the loss.  This heart took HOURS to bead!
Then I had my brilliant idea!  I pulled out my brooch pin and some Jewelry Clay.
I bet you know what I did.....I filled the brooch with clay.
I pressed my beaded heart into the clay and then cut away all the string!
I covered any visible clay with gold Pearl-Ex and let this cure overnight.
Voila.  Still wonky, but oh so interesting!
Our clay can repair hearts!
