This is crossing the cuteness overload threshold!
I know what you are thinking.
They look pretty good just glued into the bezel.
But they would not be secure!
So after placing them into the bezel I knew I would glue them permanently by covering them with Jewelry Resin.
(I can't tell you where these pencils came from. They were a little favor attached to a ribbon around a Christmas gift.)
TIP: You would think a project as simple as this would be trouble free.
Two things to watch for. Air bubbles did get caught between the pencils and around the sharpened nibs. I had to babysit this for over an hour.
Then I walked away and at least 90 minutes after the pour, one pencil just slid away from the bottom. I was able to push it back with a toothpick where it permanently cured. Whew!
