Wearing Your Favorite Tools

Do you ever find yourself having a "lucky pencil" or favorite paint brush?  As you use them to create pieces of art, you start to think they are part of the reason why you are successful.  They are hard to throw out.
Curry's will now be be carrying Jewelry Clay.  It occurred to me that while they may not have jewelry making supplies, it did not mean that their customers may not want to make a keepsake that was indeed wearable.  Last week I showed you how to make a mini canvas wearable.  Today I am going to focus on my all time favorite pencil.

All you need is a very small amount of Jewelry Clay (mixed following the manufactures instructions) and a favorite pencil or paint brush that it is at the end of its usefulness.

I press the clay around my pencil and press into it a small screw eye that makes it an instant wearable.
I brushed some silver Pearl-Ex powder across the clay surface to colour it.
I let my pencil cure (air dry) overnight.
My pencil now has a permanent home in my jewelry collection.
It looks amazing when I wear it!
