Nunn Design, Jewelry Clay and Fish Leather Cuff!

This cuff is made from fish leather.
What is exciting about it is the Jewelry Clay filled Nunn Design bezel embellishment!
Let me show you how easy it is was to make my one of a kind bracelet embellishment.
I used Jewelry Clay, Brown Staz-on, Micropearl Pearl-Ex, a rubber stamp and a Nunn Design Screw-back Bezel.
I slightly overfilled by bezel with Jewelry Clay and brushed Pearl-Ex across the surface.
Then I pressed it into the rubber stamp.  Note:  I had pressed the stamp into the brown Staz-on ink pad so that the image was already inked.
When I removed the clay filled bezel from the rubber stamp it was beautiful!  The brown ink became purple when combined with the Pear-Ex powder.  I LOVED THIS MAGICAL EFFECT!
I added some gorgeous Preciosa crystals to the clay for some extra glitter and then simply allowed my bezel to air-cure overnight.  Our clay is just brilliant!  It held the stamped image beautifully!
I knew I wanted to wear the bezel on a cuff.  Happily, I have done numerous projects with Second Skin Fish Leather for Metal Complex.  This sustainable material is 100% Tilapia fish leather.
I added a snap to my fish leather and then a piece of suede to reinforce it.
The Nunn Design screw-back bezels are so easy to install.
I cut away the extra section of exposed screw and covered it with another small piece of suede.
Nunn Design has a wonderful how-to if you need more ideas on how to use these bezels.
My finished cuff is just gorgeous!  My bezel is perfectly showcased.

This is my third sample for the Nunn Design showcase and give-a-way on our blog this month.  I'll post the give-a-way in a few days:
