I was hoping to complete this necklace before the end of summer and happily I have with just one week before Labour Day.
It features black and white components that were all hand sewn to create this bib necklace.
One of the reasons I was originally attracted to resin as a medium was the ability to create my own one of a kind components. Earlier this week on Facebook I posted this picture of my white rose curing. I made a small batch of EasyCast resin and added our white pigment to it.
It cured beautifully and became the focal point for my necklace.
I can make roses in any colour I like. I could add a metallic wax to the surface if I want to give it a little more definition or leave it as is. Either way, I am thrilled with the results.
