Although I do not enjoy the current TV series, I am intrigued by the idea of living under a dome.
In my studio I had two items that I need to make this ring. A bezel ring and a miniature (dollhouse item) bell jar.
I gathered some miniature trees and our own Envirotex Jewelry Clay.
I filled the ring bezel with clay.
Then I pressed my bell jar lightly into it so I could see which area I could work in. The bell jar is smaller than the ring, so I needed to define my space.
I coloured my clay surface with Pearl Ex.
Then I just planted my trees. I also have tiny gemstones I used for rocks.
Taking a picture outside was a better way to show off this ring!
If you look really closely, you can see a little person....me under the dome!
