These new pendants are among the prettiest I have ever made.
They feature the artwork I fell in love with; Frou Frou by Kathleen Francour.
Fall
head over high heels for the glitz and glamour of Kathleen Francour's
Frou Frou collection! Inspired by 1920's Art Deco Line-art this carefree
collection of distinctive mademoiselles, with co-ordinating patterns
and design elements has a lively, modern twist that is sure to inspire
beaucoup amuse (great fun) in your papercrafting!
The Frou Frou Papercrafting Collection CD-ROM makes it very easy to create paper crafting projects. I wanted to use the images for jewelry making projects, so after seeing the paper projects online I knew I would need to add this CD to my collection.
In this picture, you can see that I printed just one of the already pre-designed pages onto white paper.
I cut my images and glued them into the bezels. I sealed my paper three times with my decoupage/glue medium.
Sealing images is a topic I have covered here.
When my paper was dry (overnight) after sealing it, I added a little glitter glue to the edges.
After the glitter glue dried, I simply poured in
Jewelry Resin.
I did make a tiny mistake which I can point out now. I did not notice that I left a tiny hair from my brush glued to my image in this bezel. Darn it, I have not done that in years. So, I have a repair project to do next!
