This super simple pendant joins my collection of over 33 posts featuring our new Jewelry Clay.
I have shown you in several posts how to stamp into the clay.
This pendant features Jewelry Clay with a light dusting of silver Pearl Ex. I inked my rubber stamp with black Staz-on and then simply stamped into the clay which was already in the pendant.
I am so happy that my rubber stamp collection now has a new life in the jewelry studio.
(This is a Hero Arts stamp purchased at least five years ago.)
Great idea! I've used stamps to make designs in polymer clay, but I've never stamped words!
ReplyDeleteAwesome. You know how I love words in my work. I love that this pearl ex makes it look like brushed metal. I have to get me some of that pearl ex stuff! Enjoy the day. Erin
ReplyDeleteI always think of your pendants too when I create word clay projects!
DeleteThis is quite beautiful Carmi :)
ReplyDeleteOne more thing Carmi, I have been very curious looking though the Katy Sue Designs and I was wondering of it is possible to use the jewelry clay with her moulds to give a pretty full clay pendant?
ReplyDeleteHi Trish, I have not tried the clay, but since they are silicone molds and my resin popped out so perfectly I am sure they will work...you just can't use them for food projects afterwards.
DeleteThanks :) its worth a shot I think, thanks for the reminder :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a great tip! I have a huge collection of stamps that would look lovely as jewelry.
