Jewelry Clay, Beads and a Dragon

This is the third project I taught last month in my class at the Craft and Hobby Show in California.
The Dragon pendant is the perfect way to show you how fun it is to work with Jewelry Clay.

We were so happy to be selected as a top 20 product for 2013!
In the class I demonstrated how to mix a batch of jewelry clay and then it was very easy to embed the beads I included in each class kit.
I also included an Embellie Gellie pick up stick to make picking up and placing tiny beads a breeze!

The icing on the cake however was Red Russet Pearl Ex.  Once everyone had their beads and dragon in place they had a choice of eight different Pearl Ex powders to brush across the surface.
This way the clay can be any colour you like!
Here it is with gold Pearl-Ex!
I think you can just imagine how many fabulous pendants you could design with your own components!
