The most interesting items on this necklace are
the two petal shaped pendants.
I met the owner of
Vintage Meadow Artworks at the Bead and Button show last month. Her booth was jam packed with both people and interesting jewelry components. I came home with these two sets of petals.
In order to create a surface in an uneven shape I poured a small "leveling layer" of
Jewelry Resin. I let that cure overnight.
The next day I added my dried flowers and small tiny glass beads. I then poured my second layer of
Jewelry Resin and let my petals cure fully for 48 hours.
Aren't they lovely? Now my petals are indeed one of a kind!
